Answer: 01- How to backup a network share folder? Create a batch file with following command and run it: regedit /e c:\ShareRegistryBackup\share.reg HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Lanmanserver\shares
02- How to configure Remote Desktop on Windows server 2008 a. Click on Start then Server Manager b. Right-click on Roles then Add Roles c. Select Remote Desktop Services (RDS) then continue d. Select Remote Desktop Session Host & Remote Desktop Licensing then continue the installation e. When install is completed, go to Server Manager\RDS\RD Session Host Configuration f. Under Edit Setting, select User Logon Mode property g. Uncheck “Restrict each user to single session” h. You are done with configure RD
03- Error “Microsoft organization chart server application can't be found” when open Power Point Go to here to download and install hot fix package @ workaround section
04- When click on the link question, it jump to that article to answer the question (bookmark) a. Hi-light the answer text then go to Insert\Bookmark and give it a name b. Now, go to the question, Hi-light the question then right click; select Hyperlink c. Click on Bookmark then select the name that you just create in step b d. You are done, when user clicked on question, it will jump directly to the answer.
05- Can't open excel file by double click on it a. Click on Start > Control Panel b. Double click on Folder Options and select File Types tab c. Select XLS file type extension and click on Advanced d. Highlight Open under actions and click Edit

In the dialog box that appears you need to make two adjustments:
06- Windows cannot find when open excel file a. Click Start, and then click Run. b. In the Open box, type regedit, and then click OK. c. In Registry Editor, locate the following subkey in the registry: d. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office e. Expand the subkey that corresponds to the earlier version of Excel, and then click the Excel subkey. f. Right-click the Excel subkey, and then click Rename. g. Type OldExcel, and then press ENTER. h. Repeat steps 4 through 6 for any other subkeys for earlier versions of Excel. i. Locate the following subkey: j. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office k. Expand the subkey that corresponds to the earlier version of Excel, and then click the Excel subkey. l. Right-click the Excel subkey, and then click Rename. m. Type OldExcel, and then press ENTER. n. Repeat steps 9 through 11 for any other subkeys for earlier versions of Excel
07- Red X instead of picture in Outlook Email a. Exit out of Outlook 2003 on the machine with the issue b. Open the registry (Start->Run->type cmd->click Ok) c. Navigate and open the following registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Security\OutlookSecureTempFolder d. Within the key…it should say something like e. %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\OLK3D\ f. Highlight and delete g. %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\OLK3D\ h. Close out of the registry and open Outlook 2003! i. Wooohoooo!!! All fixed!
08- How to remove OGA Office Not Genuine Notification message a. Go to Options à Add-Ins b. Select COM Add-Ins (under Manage drop menu list), and click Go c. Disable or uncheck the OGAAdmin d. Repeat above steps for other Office programs e. Other way: delete the files: OGAVERIFY.EXE & OGAADDIN.DLL
09- USB flash drive unknown capacity a. Download this file here and install to your PC b. When install is completed, run the program to format your USB flash drive
10- How to remove Deep Freeze (no Deep Freeze icon on task bar) a. Download this file here and follow instruction to remove the Deep Freeze
11- Exchange 2003 OWA does not work on internal or external network If you can't connect to Email using OWA or can't receive email on PDA phone, just follow instruction below a. Reset the default virtual directories that are required for OWA, Exchange Active Sync with this instruction b. Run Exchange Best Practice Analyzer tool and repair any error that show up on the reports.
12- Auto Reply / Out Of Office Assistant in Exchange does not reply to an external email a. Open Exchange Service Manager and manage to Global Setting \ Internet Message Format \ Default \ Property b. Go to Advanced tab and check box "Allow Automatic Replies" and "Allow out of office respond" c. Apply change, close and test it out. it should work :-)
13- How to batch file delete files older than n day a. Download this file here and follow instruction to delete file older than n day
14- Can't open links in Outlook Email 2003 / 2007 a. The problem was caused by deleted file associations in registry for htm/html files b. Down load this file here and run c. Close Outlook and re-open it then all the links should open when you click on it d. For more files associations fix, please click here
